Our Members enjoy a challenging golf course on free-draining chalk Downland, which is remarkably resilient to bad weather, we also have a practice ground and an exceptional short-game facility.
The Club offers a variety of Membership options, from Full, Full Restricted and 5-day Playing Categories alongside those for younger Adults & Juniors.
There are a wide range of Competitions open to the various sections of the Club. Many members also enjoy representing the Club in matches, which range from very competitive events through to the more social and traditional fixtures against other local clubs. In addition there are a number of more informal "roll-up's" throughout the week, that provide an excellent way for Members to meet each other.
Our Academy Section provides Professional Coaching, use of the course at certain times and full Social Membership for inexperienced golfers aiming for Full Membership. Please email us for more information.
We also have an active and well-managed Junior Section, with a proud record of producing not only the majority of our Club Champions, but also our European Tour player Ross McGowan, who won the Madrid Masters in 2009 and the Italian Open in 2020.
All Playing and Social members are entitled to full use of the Clubhouse facilities, and to enjoy their choice of the Club’s varied social events.
